Medical Aesthetics in Plano, Frisco & Collin County
Roads tie the towns together. U.S. 75 runs through Plano, Allen and Richardson. Preston Rd carries practices in Plano, Frisco and Prosper, and FM 544 carries them in Murphy and Wylie. McKinney is the county seat.
Several practices run offices in more than one of these towns. McGuiness Dermatology has offices in Plano, Richardson and Murphy, and Ultimate Image MedSpa in Plano and Richardson. Total Med Solutions works in Plano and Allen, Starwood Med Spa in Frisco and McKinney, and LaserAway in Frisco and Prosper. Dr. Susanne Lockhart’s dermatology practice has offices in Plano and Prosper.
Each town has its own character. Plano mixes plastic surgeons, dermatologists and nurse-run injection studios across a wide spread of streets, from Preston Rd to Chapel Hill Blvd. Frisco’s practices line Preston Rd, Dallas Pkwy, Warren Pkwy and Legacy Dr, and some of its clinics join primary care to aesthetics. McKinney groups practices on S Stonebridge Dr, Virginia Pkwy and S Custer Rd, with physician-owned and surgeon-led offices among them.
Allen, with Fairview and Lucas, mixes injectors on E Stacy Rd and North Watters Road with facial studios and IV and wellness clinics. Richardson’s practices cluster on Campbell Road and Collins Boulevard, with nail, head spa and permanent makeup studios offering medical treatments too. Prosper’s small studios line University Dr, Murphy’s run along FM 544, and Wylie’s sit on Jackson Ave and a few other streets, several of them women-owned.
Across the region, neurotoxins, fillers and microneedling are the most widely offered treatments, with laser work, hormone and wellness care and chemical peels close behind. Thread lifts remain uncommon throughout.
What treatments cost
Nationally, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons gives an average cost of $435 for botulinum toxin injections such as Botox (per treatment) and $715 for hyaluronic acid filler. These are national averages from plastic surgeons, not Dallas med spa prices, and ASPS does not say which year they cover.
